On the bowling front it has been team effort with good contribution from Lasith Malinga (11 wickets), Harbhajan Singh (11 wickets) and Zaheer Khan (11 wickets).

And with this dream P7 News Channel and Etasha Society presented a fashion show by Suneet Varma showcasing his ‘Resort Collection’. The aim is to help young people make right choices at the right time and enable them to lead successful and healthy lives.
Suneet Varma’s Resort Collection was presented at The Grand, Vasant Kunj on 20th March’10 titled ‘I Believe I Can’. The event was different from other fashion shows in the sense it showcased the story of an ordinary girl who goes on to become Miss India. It shows how she was given training and guidance which helped her to fulfill her dream.
Former Miss India Ms. Ekta Chaudhury played the role of a poor girl in the show. Trainees of Etasha society were also part of the show. They performed the show’s inspiring theme, I Believe I Can, which illustrated their NGO’s work. Featured models including Femina Miss India Ekta Chaudhury, Esther Jamir, Ritu Singh, Shabnam Sultana, Sahiba Singh, Sakshi Bindra, Adriyana, Binita Borah, Olesheya, Adriyene, Tamara, Lolita, Vivene and Xsenia walked the ramp.
The emcee of the show was the famous model Ramneek Pantal and celebrities like Sushma Seth, Bharti Taneja, were amongst a few to grace the occasion.

Pearls Wave NGO (Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Ltd), a unique initiative and a step contributing towards raising a voice that is unanimous for all women throughout the country. Abuse, harassment, threat and torture together form a vicious circle which has been going on in India for years now, Pearl’s wave intends to put an end to such exploitation and bring about are revolutionary change.

Breakthrough, Pearls Wave NGO working for the rights of women supports the harassed and abused, is looking to provide a platform for such women ill-treated in the hands of their partners or families.

Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Pvt Ltd. is all gearing up to make a big mark in the Indian media world with its recently launched Hindi news network P7. Launched on March 27th in the Delhi, P7 entered to the screens of metropolitan city Mumbai on September 23rd.
Pearls has invested approximately Rs 400 million in P7 News. To commence the Mumbai operations and provide with an efficient distribution platform for its news channel, the company has funded around Rs 50 million to tie up with the cable networks in the Mumbai region and around Rs 80 million overall.

Road to Sangam got P7 Audience Choice Award at 11th Mumbai Film Festival

At the closing ceremony of the 11th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival, Road To Sangam got P7 Audience choice Award, presented by Mr. Jyoti Narain to Amit Rai writer and director of the movie. The movie got a prize worth Rs. 10, 00, 000.

P7 Audience Choice Awards” was introduced for the first time this year; to give the audience a taste of their choice, audience got to vote for their favourite movie. After more than two lakhs voting across three festival venues- Fun Cinema (Andheri), Metro Big Cinema (Church gate), Big Cinema (Ghatkopar) and online voting by viewers. The audiences were given a chance to put forth their preferences.

Speaking about the award Mr. Jyoti Narain, Director, P7 News Channel, said, “We are glad that people have responded so well to the audience choice award. Road to Sangam movie is about a God fearing, devout Muslim mechanic named Hashmat Ullah (Paresh Rawal) who has been entrusted the job of repairing an old V8 ford engine, not knowing the historic significance that it once carried the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi which were immersed in the holy river 'Sangam'. He is caught in a complex situation after a powerful bomb explosion rocks his town leading to the arrest of innocent Muslim youths of his locality. A strike to work is called by the prominent Leaders played by Om Puri and Pavan Mallhotra, of his community to protest against the unjust treatment meted out to those arrested youths by the police. Will he support the protest and abandon the repair of the engine or go against the wishes of his community. Thus begins his journey. A journey of Gandhian values and principles. A journey of patriotism. A journey called 'Road To Sangam'.
