Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Pvt. Ltd, on 27th March launched National Hindi News channel – ‘P7’ first of its kind in India as well as internationally. The Guest of Honour was Beauty with Brain Ms Sushmita Sen.

Gorgeous Sushmita Sen graced the Launch of P7 National Hindi News channel with her presence at ‘The Leela Kempinski’ Hotel, Gurgaon. Sushmita Sen lit the traditional lamp and unveiled the logo of P7 news channel and its show reel by pressing a remote button in a very graceful style.
Speaking on the occasion Sushmita Sen, wearing stunning black saree, said, “My good wishes are with P7 news Channel and I am happy to hear that P7 would be also be launching its Entertainment Channel soon.”

She added, “Technology & Information broadcasting in media is very fast for this generation not like it was in our time. When I was proclaimed Miss Universe in 1994, it took 24 hours to telecast that but now we see the live things happening all over the world and I hope P 7 will also take it further by showing fast and sincere news in most simple and real way as its tagline clearly states P7- Ek Umeed. I wish P7 good luck in their future endeavours”

While answering one of the questions from sizzling Rakshanda Khan, the anchor of the glittering show, Sushmita Sen smilingly said, “ My life is an open book nothing is hidden. I don’t like things to be under the shelf. Media & people know every little thing about me. If you ask my expectations from media…. I just want that they shouldn’t highlight or hype issues where one feels uncomfortable.”
