The opening ceremony of IPL 2010 witnessed stars from Indian film Fraternity like Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone and international artists like Akon, Abba Revival, Lionel Richie, Ali Campbell of UB20’s and Bjorn. There was glitter, glamour, drama and loads of fun at the opening ceremony of season 3 IPL 2010. The familiar Oscar and Grammy winning ‘Jai Ho’ song then filled the air with fun and a breathtaking laser show was put up for fans.
According to Mr. Jyoti Narain, Director, P7 news Channel, “We are happy to be part of IPL Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians represent Mumbai for the IPL. The team is lead by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, the iconic player of the Mumbai team. This team is owned by the Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani. The players of the team are Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan and Sanath Jayasurya etc. They are joined by Lasith Malinga who can be almost unplayable if he gets his length right. Mumbai Indians have also signed up a couple of players from the ICL - Ambati Rayudu and R Sathish who will add value to the side.
